Kelley joined the ALFO team in October 2018 and brings more than 10 years of experience leading detailed projects and developing community partnerships.
Before moving to Portland, she worked as a Conservation Specialist with The Trustees of Reservations, a statewide land trust. She worked closely with landowners, land trusts, public agency staff, and other conservation partners to identify and permanently protect land with significant conservation value. Prior to The Trustees, she worked for the City of Cambridge in their Housing Division administering federal funds for affordable housing developments and programs. Kelley holds an M.A. in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning at Tufts University in Medford. Additionally, Kelley has studied Conservation Ecology at Harvard University’s Extension School.
Kelley comes to ALFO with an excitement for creating better communities, for advancing leadership and supporting collaborative teams. Since moving to Portland, she has volunteered with Depave, Forest Park Conservancy, and other organizations. She also serves as a mentor in a year-long program with Women in Environment.
