White Leaders for Racial Justice
First Meeting over Zoom
Thursday, December 3 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm PST
ALF Oregon is committed to racial justice, and we’re taking action in several ways to work toward our commitment.
While keeping accountability with our Black, Indigenous and People of Color community members, we are creating a White Leaders for Racial Justice group for our Fellows and Senior Fellows who are socially categorized as white, to engage with racial justice, and anti-racism, ally-ship/accomplice-ship work directly.
We aspire to create a space where we can do the work of racial justice and anti-racism without asking the labor of our BIPOC colleagues, friends and neighbors for guidance, not adding to the already heavy burden of surviving racism with the responsibility to teach and comfort the white ALF Oregon community.
If you are interested in learning more and are socially categorized as white, let us know by clicking the button below.
We will send you an email and calendar invitation
upon signing up below.
We will also email a survey to those interested. This will help us determine the type of support that you are most interested in receiving.
We plan to offer different opportunities for members to join, connect, and learn, with ranging from one-time events to multi-week conversations.
