January 8 – Woodburn
Rep. Teresa Alonso Leon (Class 37) will lead a walking tour of downtown Woodburn from 11am - 12noon. We will enjoy lunch from a local eatery and hear an ALF Oregon update from ALF Oregon Executive Director Lisa Watson.
We may also gather after lunch for a short program. The cost is still being determined, but will not be more than $25. We will send you a link to pay in your confirmation email. Thank you! We are excited to see you there!
For this year's Fellows classes, ALF Oregon is holding the monthly Fellows gatherings on Thursday/Friday and then on Sunday/Monday of the same weekend. This is different from recent years when all classes met on Thursday/Friday on separate weeks. We made this change to accommodate the varied schedules for Fellows and for anyone with religious or culture observances on Fridays.
Another benefit of this is that this gives us an opportunity to plan Senior Fellows programming on the Saturday in the middle of the two class sessions in the communities we are visiting.
On these Saturdays, all Senior Fellows will be invited to programming and a listening session in each of these communities.
Join us for one (or more!) of these Senior Fellow Saturday. Stay tuned for more details.
Upcoming Senior Fellow Saturdays:
February 5 – Hood River
March 5 - Klamath Falls
April 9 – Burns
May 21 – Portland and REUNION Gala!
Thank you to the Program Committee for organizing.
